So, I might test the latest version to see if it runs better now. For example, this patch fixes a bug that caused Display settings to not save when changing Window Mode from Fullscreen to Exclusive Fullscreen. It also resolves a bug that caused Exclusive Fullscreen to reset to Fullscreen when using [Alt] + [Tab].

For Spider-Man 2 high ray tracing specs, you’ll need a GPU architecture upgrade, where only an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT will do. Despite being a PS5 port, the Spider-Man 2 system requirements can ask a lot of your gaming PC, especially if you want to play at 4K with ray tracing enabled. This setup provides access to more advanced ray tracing options and better visual quality. This configuration lets you enjoy ray-traced reflections and shadows at 1440p while maintaining smooth gameplay. These characters do add a bit more flavour to the world and its largely homogenous population of NPCs you’re clearly not intended to look at too closely.

Set Things Right

The majority of the side activities wind up feeling both mechanically and narratively pointless. An electric bike race feels silly enough in a Spider-Man game, but when the stakes are just “I need someone to try out my electric bike”, it’s hard not to think Miles and Peter have more pressing stuff to be getting on with. Far S8 of what you’re doing feels like padding from the early days of open world games—there’s more inspiration here from Crackdown than there is from GTA V.

Despite its imperfections and overall lack of side content as well as a rushed third act the gameplay is near perfect in every way possible. The first game will always be better but this one is still a great game that’s definitely worth playing. The story swings just as elegantly between upbeat hijinks and solemn moments of reflection.

Here, though, he’s not that serial killer the alien eyes in jail. This time, he works at an amusement park, eager to redeem himself. Unfortunately, Kraven’s goons kidnap him, leading to an action-packed car chase across the Big Apple.
